Woodlands is a luxury boutique hotel, wedding and event venue. This stunning country house, approached down a sweeping driveway and surrounded by landscaped gardens, is full of character, charm. A lovingly restored hotel boasting 22 individually decorated bedrooms and an award-winning restaurant.
Woodlands offers the atmosphere of a romantic retreat with the luxury of a stylish boutique hotel, perfect for social and business events and the ideal setting for exclusive use weddings – our speciality. Please note we don’t allow external catering.

Planning and packages
At Woodlands we understand that your wedding will be like no other and our wedding planners will ensure every detail is meticulously planned. However, many clients like packages to take some of the stress out of organising the day and ours offer lots of extras such as décor and stationery.

Bridal Preparation Room
Located on the ground floor with it’s own private entrance and available from 7am on the morning of the wedding for you to great ready in. The room is one of our most spacious rooms and includes dressing tables for hair and make-up along with a fully refurbished bathroom. Use of the room for the Wedding pampering with your Bridal party is charged at an additional fee and you can add on our prosecco breakfast package, which will be served to your room for you all to enjoy whilst getting ready for your special day.
Bridal Suite
Our bridal suite is a large luxurious first floor double room with lounge area and countryside views. It is furnished with a super king size four-poster bed and en-suite which features a freestanding bath overlooking the gardens.
